The Amazonas textile jacket from Halvarssons boasts some great techincluding being Teflon coated, being reinforced with HI-ART technologyto minimise abrasion, this tests better in a slide than Kevlar. The 3layer jacket comes with a Dryway+ laminated membrane and a removableOutlast temperature regulating liner with Thinsulate. This is a laminatetextile jacket which offers the best waterproofing available and evenafter a long drive the jacket doesn't need to dry, it's ready to gostraight away and still retains the same level of water and leakprotection.

The Amazonas jacket offers great protection coming with adjustable CE approved armour which can be complemented with a separate CE approvedback protector. For extra breathability there are air vents, for comfortthe sleeves and waist are adjustable and for great visibility the wholejacket has Scotchlite reflectors around zippers and seams etc. For thejacket to work at it's best, it is suggested to wear a technical baselayer underneath and to regularly wash your jacket of dirt build up(which stops the membranes functioning correctly) and reproofing where necessary as well. The jacket can beattached to Halvarssons trousers via a connecting zipper and to keepthe connection as water tight as possible there's also a rubber seal to grip to the trousers.
